The Whisky Lovers Trail highlights 12 different whisky distilleries as well as whisky specialized hotels and bars with each other. While the distilleries offer great whisky tasting tours you can enjoy a large number of Scotch Whiskies from all whisky regions of Scotland and The Isles in many bars and hotels in the National Park. Some Hotels can even organise a whole package for your whisky break, including the visit to one or more distilleries.
The Old Rectory in Callander has a small but very cosy bar with an impressive Scotch Whisky library launched in 2009. More than 120 different whiskies are available and the selection is still growing.They have one of the largest collections in the area, featuring many rare and unusual malts as well as the more popular drams. The George Hotel is Camra Argyll Pub of the year 2011 winner and earns its place in the good pub beer guide.
