A hidden treasure on Loch Lomond. Quietly located between Drymen and Rowardennan the village of Balmaha has an unrivalled location for lovers of Scotland's great outdoors; the great Loch Lomond views from Balmaha House allows you to chill out and relax after a days exploring on foot, by car, canoe or bike. There is also a Waterbus Taxi service that stops at Balmaha allowing you to explore the 25 mile length of Loch Lomond.

Warm and cosy whatever the time of year. Within the original house are 3 bedrooms (a double, twin and single - 2 are ensuite & 1 has a shared bathroom). On site is also The Roost Self Catering Chalet that sleeps 4 persons; the Roost also has a private conservatory overlooking the bay to relax in and soak up a gorgeous Loch Lomond sunset.

"No light pollution here": Our starry skies make this a perfect location for 'Star Gazing' and you can't help but feel rejuvenated by breathing in our clear unspoiled country air.

Muddy wheels, mucky boots & dirty paws are very welcome. We only ask that dogs are not left alone unsupervised and that if you do return with muddy paws & boots you clean them off outside. We have washdown facilties and are happy to store your wet gear and cycles.

Treat yourself to a High Tea. Newly taken over in 2018, Shanti & Dougie are keen to provide great hospitality and a friendly service.

Amelia & Jace comment on their Balmaha stay: "Perfect homely B&B with delicious breakfast....great location to view Loch Lomond and do some local walks. The new owners were so accommodating and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and room lovely and warm. There was an Inn right over the road for evening meals and drinks. A fab stay.

One night stay with friends during our cycle of the west highland way. Good place to lay your head after a days toil. Lovely service and nice atmosphere. Great value and brill breaking to starthe the following day off.
