Furnished and renovated to a high standard it has a comfortable and cosy sitting room with an open fire and wonderful views across open countryside. Quietly located by the Black Water River and not far from Loch Venachar makes Riverview an ideal retreat for those wanting to escape. A 5 min stroll gets you to the famous local Gastro pub and village tea room.

An ideal location: With is delightful riverside setting, Riverview Cottage has a traditional welcoming atmosphere. Sleeping 4 persons in 2 bedrooms it is ideal for a couple/small family or a group of friends, all rooms are one level. Warm and cosy year round:The comfortable and cosy sitting room with dining area is centered around a welcoming open fire and has a TV, iPod dock and games chest. The main bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with south-facing views stretching across the garden and riverbank. The neighbouring smaller bedroom with bunk beds and is ideal for younger guests. The bathroom has a shower, WC and basin. Just bring yourself & your supplies. Riverview comes fully equipped with all you could need, including a welcoming 'Breakfast Bundle'! If you need more groceries both Callander & Aberfoyle have supermarkets open 7 days a week till 10pm: "Thank you so much for the welcoming breakfast bundle. much appreciated, a lovely touch. Riverview is perfect for lovers of peace and tranquility: Outside the cottage is a tranquil rear garden with a large lawn and sitting area. The garden is bordered by the Black Water River, which flows into Loch Venachar. Peaceful but not isolated Riverview cottages is located in the pretty village of Brig O’ Turk; just a 5 min walk away are the local Post Office, a very popular tea room and a renowned gastropub, the Byre Inn. On your door step is walking, cycling, fishing, sailing & boat trips. "No light pollution here": Our starry skies make this a perfect location for 'Star Gazing' and you can't help but feel rejuvenated by breathing in our clear unspoiled country air. Muddy Wheel, Muddy Boots & Mucky Paws are very welcome. Don't worry about leaving your loved ones behind as we welcome dogs and their owners (but with a few commonsense requests) e.g. they (the dogs) are not left alone in the house unsupervised, they use their own baskets to relax in and that if you do return with muddy paws & boots you clean them off outside. If you do plan to bring your pets please arrange this advance of your stay. One week may not be enough!
