Your Host : Helen and Stephen
If you are looking for a quiet retreat away from the stresses of modern life, then staying in The Pottery should be high on your list. Renovated to an extremely high standard, Helen and Stephen take great pride in providing a memorable stay for all the right reasons.

The Pottery is a studio style cottage set within an acre of mature gardens, beside it is the Victorian Burn (stream) which runs down to the Gare Loch at the bottom of the garden. Warm & cosy all year round it has underfloor heating in the shower room & kitchen area. If needed, Helen can also supply you with all you need for cooking breakfast.

Here is a typical 5 star comment from Trip Advisor: Perfect Stay in every way."Had a fantastic stay in the pottery, its quirky, cozy and fully compact with all the mod cons you could want and more, the garden is majestic and was lovely to sit and chill in the sun, our 2 little dogs loved it to as it was so dog friendly and secure for them to run around in, both Helen and Stephen made us feel so welcome, it was a nice touch having fresh eggs from their chickens and being left a wee dram, so looking forward to our next visit in this wee gem of a place". Pelepops from Glasgow.

"No light pollution here": Our starry skies make this a perfect location for 'Star Gazing' and you can't help but feel rejuvenated by breathing in our clear unspoiled country air. With direct access to the loch side from the garden and various seating areas you can't help but de-stress and unwind the minute you arrive. Guests regularly witness spectacular panoramic sunsets and spot local wildlife such as soaring Ospreys and the elusive Red Squirrel.

Muddy wheels, mucky boots & dirty paws are very welcome. If you do return tired and mucky all we ask is that you don't bring your mucky gear into The Pottery & clean your pets before entering. Also safe bike storage.

Help is nearby: A wealth of local knowledge, Helen and Stephen live in the original Victorian Villa with their family. They are happy to advice you on local Places to Visit and Things to Do both locally and further afield.

Need a larger property? Onsite is The Coach House which sleeps 5 persons in 2 bedrooms. For those looking for a self catering holiday on the West coast of Scotland, Carloch Holidays are perfect for couples, family's or groups.
