Located close the Bannockburn battle site Stirling's Craigquarter Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast is still a working farm. It now offers complete peace and quiet coupled with wonderful Scottish scenery and high standards of hospitality . The Guests bedroom accommodation are all bespoke and designed by a Scottish Interior Designer. The original farmhouse has a king sized ensuite double and the newly converted Barn conversion has 2 ensuite bedrooms with zip link super king sized beds. All 3 bedrooms are furnished to a high 4 star standard and have tea and coffee making facilites and freeview tv. Sorry but due to our location there is no WiFi signal available.

"No light pollution here": Our starry skies also make this a perfect location for 'Star Gazing' and you can't help but feel rejuvenated by breathing in our clear unspoiled country air.

2 nights will not be enough! You could easily spend 2 days locally exploring Stirling by visiting the Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle and chilling out at the farm. Let the train take the strain! and visit Edinburgh and Glasgow by train, both a day each themselves and maybe even longer! Another must day visit is a drive to The Trossachs via Callander to sail on the SS Sir Walter Scott on Loch Katrine, then drive to Aberfoyle via the scenic Dukes Pass and visit Go Ape . Finish your day with a wee dram at The Glengoyne Distillery ..... and finally a visit to Loch Lomond is a must. Here is a typical guests comment:

Experience the Scottish countryside....very special! "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Craigquarter. Mary, our host, was warm, welcoming and easygoing. The suite itself was very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Mary makes a lovely Scottish breakfast. We particularly enjoyed our morning conversations - Mary has a lot of local knowledge and made some great suggestions for our visit. Most of all, this is an authentic farm-stay". "The view from our suite was simply stunning - green rolling hills, sheep and cattle grazing, with Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument on the horizon. The fresh air and silence made our stay very restful; it was particularly nice to unwind in the country after long days of sightseeing. If you want to truly experience the Scottish countryside, this is the place to be. Highly recommended". Debra from Ottawa, Canada.
