Built in 1746 in the aftermath of the Jacobite Rebellion Lots Cottage is a former farmhouse. It now offers complete peace and quiet coupled with wonderful Scottish scenery and high standards hospitality.

Complete privacy. Lots Cottage's newly renovated Guests wing gives complete privacy for up to 4 Guests in 2 bedrooms a twin and king sized double (which can also be a family room). Ideal for families or a small group of friends, the bedrooms share a private bathroom, plus there is a 2nd seperate WC (the twin also has its own hand basin). Both bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilites and freeview tv and free WiFi. If needed a cot is available (free of charge) to put in the King room, we also have a high chair. If needed (for older children/adults) the King room now also has extra beds making it suitable for families.

"No light pollution here": Our starry skies also make this a perfect location for 'Star Gazing' and you can't help but feel rejuvenated by breathing in our clear unspoiled country air.

4 star standards of Scottish hospitality. Tina and her Husband are happy to offer a pick up and drop off service for Guests who would like to have a drink with their meal when eating out in nearby Callander. 2 nights will not enough! Our Guest's favourite "Local Things To Do":

Nothing in particular: Find a quiet spot in the house or garden to enjoy a good book, a glass of wine & just chill out.

Spend the day Cycling & Walking: We have safe storage for bikes and wet gear. Nearby are 100's of miles of cyle & walking paths including National Route 7, The Rob Roy Way and the Dukes Pass and 3 Lochs Drive. Whilst in Aberfoyle don't forget to check out Go Ape and one of the UK's longest zip wires.

Tackle a local peak: Ben Lomond is one of Scotland's Munros & a must for Munro baggers! Locally and worth tackling there is Ben A'an, Ben Venue & Ben Ledi.

Visit Glengoyne Distillery: Glengoyne is a one of Scotland's most Southerly distilleries. It is open all year round for Tours, Masterclasses and Whisky Tastings and is a must visit venue.
