"No light pollution here": Our starry skies make this a perfect location for 'Star Gazing' and you can't help but feel rejuvenated by breathing in our clear unspoiled country air.

Our favourite "Local Things To Do"

1. Nothing in particular: Just find a quiet spot and enjoy a good book, a nice glass of wine and chill out.

2. Spend the day Cycling & Walking in the Trossachs:For the truly energetic, cycle the 3 Lochs Drive returning via the David Marshall Lodge. Alternatively, you can drive and stop to enjoy the views. Whilst in Aberfoyle don't forget to check out Go Ape and one of UK's longest zip wire & sailing on Loch Katrine .

3. Tackle Ben Lomond: One of Scotland's Munros this is a must for Munro baggers! Located on The West Highland Way the drive is via Balmaha to Rowardennan and is also a great day out. If walking Ben Lomond you should make sure you leave plenty of time and are prepared for weather changes. The views from the top are spectacular.

4. Visit Glengoyne Distillery: Glengoyne is a one of Scotland's most Southerly distilleries and is our local distillery. It is open all year round for Tours, Masterclasses and Whisky Tastings and is a must visit venue.

5. Spend the day in The City of Stirling: Stirling Castle and The Wallace Monument are a must visit. Stirling's railway station allows you to park up and take the train to visit Glasgow and Edinburgh. 3 Days may not be long enough!
