Arbor Lodge is an ideal Bed and Breakfast for exploring The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Located in the bustling town of Balloch, it is a great base for spending some time in this beautiful area of Scotland. Loch Lomond is a pleasant stroll from the bed and breakfast and also the Shopping Complex Loch Lomond Shores and Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre are close by. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Arbor Lodge has 4 letting rooms, 2 doubles, 1 twin and 1 family room all with bathrooms and tea making facilities, TV and free Wifi internet. Free Parking. Off street free parking is provided and there is overnight storage for bicyles. A freshly cooked Breakfast is included. Cereals, fruit, juice, yogurts cold meats, cheeses morning rolls, toast Tea & Fresh Coffee are served at individual tables in the dining room located on the ground floor. If required, a packed lunch service is also available. The town of Balloch is a Gateway to The National Park and has many choices of Pubs and Restaurants nearby and the Lomond Shore Shopping Complex is open all year round. At Balloch Pier you will find many boats for hire or cruising on Loch Lomond, such as Sweeney’s Cruises, which has been operating on Loch Lomond for over 120 years. You will also find the recently restored 80 year old paddle steamer, The Maid of the Loch at Balloch Pier. Balloch Castle Country Park which is a mansion house open to the public has 200 acres of woodland, parks and ornamental gardens. Spend the day exploring Scotland by train: Balloch has a railway station so Stirling Castle and The Wallace Monument, The Highlands, Glasgow and Edinburgh are all within easy reach.
