Thorntree Barn, in Arnprior, is on the edge of The Trossachs National Park and is in a peaceful location with views to Flanders Moss Nature reserve. Sleeping 6 to 7 persons with a ground floor lounge, open plan dining area & kitchen is extremely light and spacious. In winter you will enjoy the wood burning stove and in the summer you will love the french doors that open to a patio & seating area. 3 twin bedrooms, one with private shower and WC. Central heating and WiFi broadband.

Thorntree Barn provides quality self catering accommodation for holidays. It has been converted to make spacious self-catering rental accommodation sleeping 6 or 7 persons with its own car park, patio and garden area. On the edge of the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park and close to the Lake of Menteith, it is ideal for touring and visiting Edinburgh, Glasgow and all the wonderful scenic areas around us. We are only 12 miles from Stirling, in Central Scotland.

Thorntree Barn has 3 bedrooms (2 of which can be doubled bedded rooms) one has private shower room. The smaller bedroom is a twin bedded room. Also, one room has a full sized pull down bed, sleeping 3 persons if needed. Also, an additional bathroom with shower over the bath and separate WC.

The ground floor is one large room with kitchen, dining and seating areas. Thorntree is a No Smoking property.

Incredible Views: Carol(a florist) and Mark have surrounded the farmhouse with lovely gardens of roses, lawns, flower beds and shrubs. The gardens are made extra special by the wonderful views over the Carse of Stirling towards the Trossachs and southern Highlands. From the barns sitting room it is possible to witness spectacular panoramic sunsets behind 3000 foot Ben Lomond.

Help is nearby: A wealth of local knowledge, Carol and Mark Seymour live next door to the Thorntree Barn and are happy to advice you on local Places to Visit and Things to Do both locally and futher afield.

Don't fancy cooking? Nearby there are excellent Pub Restaurants within a few minutes of Thorntree for those who like to eat out.

From Thorntree there is so much to see and things to do, that we can only scratch the surface here. Stirling is only 15 minutes away: Edinburgh is about an hour and Glasgow 45 minutes, both cities have a vibrant range of Museums, Art Galleries, Theatres and other attractions. On wet days if you want to go to the Cinema, there are new multi screen facilities in Stirling, Glasgow and Falkirk. The nearest cinema is in Stirling.

Trout fishing is available locally and if you are a walker or climber, then Thorntree is the ideal base. Within one hours drive there are numerous 18 hole Golf courses including Gleneagles.
