Loch Chon
 

Loch Chon is situated between Kinlochard and Inversnaid on the B829 Road.

 

It is a popular loch for picnics, cycling, walking & canoeing.

 

There are various tracks around the loch, forest tracks and remnants of older tracks for the more adventurous to follow.

Surrounded by the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, Loch Chon stretches east fromLoch Lomond to Strathyre over mountains and hills, and in the middle is Heron Island. Near the southern end are the narrows of Linne Dhubh
 

Bank fishing is allowed on Loch Chon for for brown trout, perch and pike and the season is March 15th till October 6th.
