Welcome to The Trossachs in Scotland

The Trossachs in Scotland is an area of oustanding beauty and is sometimes known as "Scotland in Minature"
due to its diversity in landscape. It has inspired many famous people from Sir Walter Scott who wrote the novel
"Lady of the Lake" after spending time near Loch Katrine, and Queen Victoria who fell in love with the area
and spent many happy times on holiday in the Trossachs.

Now forming a major part of Scotland's first National Park including Argyll and Loch Lomond, the area has
a plan of sustainable development to ensure the balance between providing visitor enjoyment and the enviroment.
The principal towns are Callander to the North, Aberfoyle to the West and Balloch which is also the gateway town
to the National Park.

Whatever the reasons for visiting The Trossachs, all will leave in awe of the magnificent surroundings and
beautiful landscapes, only to look forward to a return visit. This site will provide full information and help
on booking accommodation, planning an itinery and things to see and do. Enjoy your stay...
